Founded by fitness influencer and entrepreneur Heidi Somers in 2016 in San Antonio, Texas, Buffbunny Collection began with a simple yet powerful idea: create an inclusive, high-quality, fashion-forward activewear brand that celebrates every woman’s journey.
Heidi recognized a gap in the activewear industry, most fitness apparel at the time was designed with a limited body ideal in mind, lacking representation and inclusivity. Driven by her own experiences and a passion for empowering women, she launched Buffbunny Collection out of her home, designing each piece herself for the first two years. With thoughtful, functional details and luxurious custom fabrics, her early collections quickly resonated with women who were seeking more than just gym clothes, they were looking for something that made them feel seen, strong, and confident.
